Ryazan Higher Military School. Ryazan Guards Higher Airborne Command School

The Ryazan Institute of the Airborne Forces inherits and continues the military glory and military traditions of the previous military educational institutions: the 1st Ryazan Soviet infantry courses for the command staff of the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army, the Ryazan Infantry School, the Ryazan Infantry, Kuibyshev and Alma-Ata military parachute schools, Ryazan Higher Airborne Command Twice Red Banner School named after General of the Army V.F.

In 1918, by order of the Revolutionary Government, a network of special military courses for the training of officers was created in the country. Among such courses, by Order of the People's Commissariat for Military Affairs No. 743 of August 29, 1918, the 1st Ryazan Soviet Infantry Courses for the command staff of the Red Army began to form in Ryazan. The former colonel was appointed head of the courses General Staff of the Russian army Troitsky Ivan Alexandrovich, commissar - Goryunov Alexey Ivanovich.

Day 13 November by order of the Revolutionary Military Council of the republic in memory of the end of the formation of the 1st Ryazan infantry courses was declared an annual holiday of personnel. Since then, this date has been celebrated as the birthday of the unit, as a professional holiday of the personnel of the Ryazan Institute of the Airborne Forces.

From April to August 1919, the Ryazan courses in full force took part in the battles against the White Cossacks on the Southern Front. In 1920, the courses were renamed the Ryazan Infantry School.

In 1920-1921, detachments of cadets took part in operations to eliminate the Wrangel landing in the Kuban, liberated Nagorno Dagestan from the White Guard troops, and liquidated Antonov's counterrevolutionary gangs in the Tambov region.

In 1937 the school was renamed the Ryazan Infantry School.

In battles against the Japanese on the Khalkhin-Gol River and the White Finns, the graduates of Terekhin M.F. and Komarov N.N. become the first Heroes among the graduates of the school Soviet Union.

The war years were a comprehensive test of the school's vital functions, fortitude, courage and resilience of the personnel. The cadets studied hard, and the graduates with knowledge of the matter smashed the hated enemy. Thousands of pupils of the Ryazan Infantry performed feats in the name of the liberation of the Motherland and the peoples of Eastern Europe, enslaved by fascism, 13 graduates of the school were awarded the highest title - Hero of the Soviet Union.

On November 12, 1943, the Ryazan Infantry School, in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of its foundation, was awarded the Order of the Battle Red Banner for military services to the Motherland and outstanding successes in the training of officers.

In the fifties, the country's leadership set the task of forming strong, highly mobile Airborne Forces. To solve it, it was necessary to create a specialized military educational institution that would satisfy the need for new troops in officer cadres. In the spring of 1953, the Alma-Ata Airborne School, created in 1947, was merged with the Ryazan School, and from that moment Ryazan became the forge of command personnel for the Airborne Forces. In 1958, the school was transformed into a higher combined-arms command school. Since 1964, this educational institution became known as the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command Red Banner School. The cadets took the fighting traditions of the Ryazan infantry with all their hearts and tried to create a worthy authority for the new airborne school.

On February 22, 1968, in connection with the 50th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the USSR, the school was rewarded with the Order of the Red Banner for great services in the training of officers. He was given the honorary title of "the name of the Lenin Komsomol".

November 12, 1996, taking into account the numerous requests of personnel, veterans, the President Russian Federation gave the school a new honorary name "named after General of the Army Vasily Filippovich Margelov".

On August 29, 1998, in connection with the reorganization of military educational institutions, by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, the school was renamed into the Ryazan Institute of the Airborne Forces.

And only by the end of all graduations of infantry cadets on April 4, 1964, the school replaced its sign with the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command Red Banner School. Since 1959, when the Alma-Ata military parachute school became part of the RKPU, the school began to "forge" officers for the Airborne Forces of the SV of the USSR Armed Forces. Education

The educational process at the Ryazan Institute of the Airborne Forces differs from the educational process at a higher school. Education at the university is based on a close combination of theory and practice, its duration is 5 years, on officer courses (training of commanders of airborne companies (battalions) and specialists of the airborne service) - 5-10 months. The entire period of study is divided into 10 academic semesters - two semesters per academic year. At the end of each semester and academic year, an examination session is held in accordance with the curriculum. The main forms of theoretical work of students are: listening to lectures, working at seminars and extracurricular consultations; to check and consolidate the knowledge gained in the learning process, laboratory and control works are periodically carried out. Within the framework of the course of practical exercises with a training platoon of cadets, group exercises, tactical exercises and exercises, and internships are provided. At the end of each course, starting from the second year of study, cadets are required to provide personal course projects; any independent work of cadets to improve personal skills is encouraged.

During training, cadets spend more than a year on field trips. Every year, cadets are provided with a winter vacation of 2 weeks and a basic summer vacation of 30 days.

Cadets who graduated from college with an honors diploma enjoy the preferential right to choose a place of service after graduating from the institute within the limits of the order established for the school.

Airborne troops

The Airborne Forces is a unique branch of Russian troops. These fighters belong to the class of weapons of mass destruction, because nothing can break their iron will, nerves of steel and desire to win. Rumors of the severity of the Russian paratroopers spread across the continent and echoes from three others. The Airborne Forces is our trump card in the sleeve, the guarantee of our peace of mind and confidence in the invincibility of the army of the Russian Federation.

The paratroopers are different ...

Of course, among the representatives of the armed forces of this kind of troops, like any other, there are people of different nationalities, religions, different upbringing and disposition. Therefore, it would be extremely unfair to cut everyone one size fits all.

Of course, many factors influenced the formation of the fighter's personality. But the school of the Airborne Forces is of decisive importance on the path of becoming a soldier's personality. It is here that the basic, basic principles are formed, guidelines for further development are set.

The schools specialize in the training of soldiers of different ranks (the school of warrant officers, sergeants of the Airborne Forces, a cadet school), but they are united by a common goal - to educate a paratrooper who is worthy to wear his shoulder straps and belong to the structure of the Russian army. It is here that the fighters fully understand the meaning of the statement “to pay the debt to the Motherland”. And the better they learn this lesson, the more groundless the cliché in the first paragraph will be.

332 school of warrant officers of the Airborne Forces in Moscow

School of warrant officers of the Airborne Forces at number 332 is the only institution of its kind. This embodiment of military thought is located in the Moscow district of Mitino and is a non-impressive military unit. It is here that first-class specialists in the field of vehicles and armored vehicles are trained, as well as company foremen and instructors in the field of airborne training.

332 School of the Airborne Forces begins its history in the distant 72nd year of the last century. Initially based in the Baltic States, she moved to the capital a little after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Has gone through many reforms and transformations. Only the high level of training of soldiers, the professionalism of the teaching staff and the demand for the institution remained stable.

The school of warrant officers of the Airborne Forces in Mitino is waiting for those who wish to carry out first-class training for service in the Russian army.

Servicemen are accepted here exclusively on a contract basis. After graduating from 332 warrant officer school, a person rightfully enters the ranks of the airborne forces of the Russian Federation.

School of sergeants of the Airborne Forces in Ryazan

The full name sounds like "Training Center for Sergeants of the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School". In this educational institution at the Faculty of Secondary vocational education sergeants are being trained for further service in the RF Airborne Forces.

The focus here is on practice. The program of the school of sergeants of the Airborne Forces involves numerous jumps from planes different types(monoplanes and biplanes, light multipurpose and heavy military transport aircraft), both without additional equipment, and with its various variations, with landing on land and on water. The more experience a soldier has, the more effective his military service will be.

The term of study at the Ryazan Airborne Forces school is almost 3 years. This is the optimal period for the cadet to fully master the material presented to him and to consolidate the theoretical part with practice.

Airborne cadet schools

Airborne cadet corps are quite popular today and are widespread throughout the country. They are closed secondary military educational institutions.

Among the most worthy, I would like to highlight the Ufa Airborne Cadet Corps, which is rightfully considered one of the best in Russia. The training lasts for 4 years. At the Airborne Forces school, children undergo constant practice on sports-training aircraft, receive a theoretical base in such areas as navigation, aerodynamics and parachute training. Thus, the Russian army receives highly qualified air force fighters.

The Nizhny Novgorod Airborne Cadet Corps (Airborne Cadet School No. 4) is one of the oldest educational institutions of this type. The building itself was opened in 1834. And in June 1995, an experimental class of airborne forces was opened. Per training course cadets receive complete secondary education with in-depth study of individual subjects, such as mathematics, physics, and the Russian language.

GKOU Cossack Cadet Corps trains cadets in general education programs (primary, basic and secondary) and additional programs that prepare students for military service.

The airborne troops are the stronghold of Russia. And in our country all conditions have been created to fully prepare those who wish to serve in these troops.

"In the event of a military conflict, men in blue berets will go into the mouth of the enemy with one goal - to tear this mouth apart."
V.F. Margelov
Among the honorary graduates of the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command Twice Red Banner School named after General of the Army V.F. forty-five Heroes of the Soviet Union, sixty-nine Heroes of Russia, hundreds of holders of military orders, more than sixty champions of our country and the world in parachute jumping. This school graduated from: the former Minister of Defense of Russia P.S. Grachev, former commander of the Airborne Forces A.P. Kolmakov, Honored Artist of Russia, singer, actor O.V. Kukhta, former army commander, governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory A.I. Lebed, a fighter of mixed martial arts S.V. Kharitonov, adviser to the Minister of Defense, former army commander, head of the Ulyanovsk region, Hero of Russia V.A. Shamanov, governor of the Ryazan region, former commander of the Airborne Forces G.I. Shpak, governor of the Tver region A.V. Shevelev and many others. From other countries, the RVVDKU studied: the former leader of Poland V.V. Jaruzelski, President of Mali A.T. Toure, the former head of the Georgian defense department L.L. Sharashenidze.
Today, the main goal of the RVVDKU is to educate a qualitatively new generation of military command personnel of any level, capable of serving their Fatherland not by compulsion, but only by personal conviction, ready at any time to defend the independence, sovereignty and state interests of our great country.
94 years ago, on November 13, a glorious military institute of the armed forces of our Motherland was organized - the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School (RVVDKU) named after Army General Vasily Filippovich Margelov.
The history of this institution began in August 1918, when it was decided to form the first infantry courses in Ryazan to replenish the command staff of the young workers 'and peasants' Red Army. On their base, in the future, they organized first an infantry, and later an airborne school. The birthday of the RVVDKU was November 13, 1918 - the first day when the courses began. Colonel Ivan Aleksandrovich Troitsky was appointed head of the school. It was a wartime, turbulent time, classes were held at an accelerated pace. Pupils were given only the very basics of military wisdom, taught to work with subordinates, to handle weapons. The first red commanders were released on March 15 next year... Every last man, they were immediately sent to various fronts of the civil war. In just the time it lasted Civil War, seven graduates or 499 people passed through the school.
In 1920, these infantry courses were renamed the fifteenth Ryazan infantry school. The term of study immediately increased to three years. And at the end of autumn 1921, the infantry school was awarded the Revolutionary Red Banner of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee of the USSR for the courage and courage shown by the personnel. In 1937 the school was transformed into the infantry school of Kliment Voroshilov, one of the first Marshals of the Soviet Union. And on August 2, 1941, a military parachute school was secretly created on the basis of this school in Samara for the education and training of airborne troops. In all the papers, the new part was hidden behind the number 75021.
In November 1943, the RVVDKU celebrated its 25th anniversary. On the day of the anniversary, by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, the training center was awarded the honorary order of the Red Banner. The document read: "For military services to the Fatherland and great success in the training and education of officers." Over the years of the Great Patriotic War ten gallant graduates of the school were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.
In the summer of 1958, by the decision of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, the Ryazan secondary infantry school was reformed into a higher command combined-arms school. The term of study increased again, now to four years. Graduates of this institution could receive higher education degrees, but military training has not changed in any way. Then V.F. Margelov, who headed the airborne troops, suggested that the top leadership of our country combine this school with the Alma-Ata landing force to train airborne officers. In 1959, the two educational institutions merged. On May 1 of the same year, the first group of cadets led by Colonel Leontyev arrived from Kazakhstan. The name - Ryazan Higher Airborne Command - the school received only by the end of their training on April 4, 1964. The military parachute school of Alma-Ata, having become part of the Ryazan, also trained the officers of the Airborne Forces of our country.
V.F. Margelov closely watched the work of the institution. Under his careful guidance, the school grew and acquired an excellent educational base, transformed beyond recognition. Much later, a monument to the famous general will be erected at the school in 1995 as a token of gratitude to the merits of the founder of the airborne service.
In 1962, knowledge in foreign languages was put at the head of the preparation process. At the same time, the school began to accept and train foreigners. The first of them were the Vietnamese, then the Indonesians appeared. Today, children from thirty-two countries of the world study at RVVDKU! In 1968, in honor of the fiftieth anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Soviet Union, the school was awarded the Order of the Red Banner for the second time, and in 1989 it received the "Commander's Cross" of the Order of Merit of Poland for excellent training within the walls of the training center for the military personnel of this country. On July 9, 2004, by order of the Government of the Russian Federation under number 937-P, the school was for the last time renamed into the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command (Military Institute) named after General of the Army Vasily Margelov. Rumor has it that this was done on the basis of numerous requests from veterans and the staff of the school. For excellent combat training, the school in 2006 was awarded the Pennant of the Minister of Defense of our country.
This educational institution never stops there. Since 2008, the RVVDKU began to train girls in the military profession called "The use of airborne support units." Female officers will command parachute handlers, helping to drop paratroopers and military equipment on special platforms or complex multi-dome systems. Since 2011, on the basis of the training center, courses have been opened to train military priests, as well as rabbis, imams and lamas for the navy and land army.
Today, the institution includes the school itself, a training center sixty kilometers from the city, an aviation squadron and a parachute club. On the basis of the school, dormitories were built to accommodate students, laboratories and educational buildings where classes are held, a shooting range, sports halls, training halls for teaching martial arts, airborne training, a stadium, a canteen, a cafe, a post office, a club, a consumer service facility, medical Center. On the territory of the school there is the Orthodox Church of Elijah the Prophet and the Museum of the History of the Airborne Forces.
The school prepares cadets in two specialties. Commander of an airborne platoon of the Airborne Forces with the additional qualification of a manager and the commander of a reconnaissance platoon of airborne units of the Airborne Forces with the qualification of a linguist-translator. The military institute has nine military personnel (weapons and shooting, special tactical training, humanitarian and economic disciplines, materiel and repair, airborne training, peacetime troop control, operation and driving, physical training, tactics) and three civilian departments (mathematics and physics, foreign languages, Russian). About a dozen doctors of sciences and several dozen candidates work for them. The military education system is constantly being improved. Candidates undergo a rigorous multi-stage selection, during which a conclusion is formed on the degree of suitability of a particular individual for the needs of the chosen profession. Training at the Ryazan Institute of the Airborne Forces for all five years is based on the closest combination of practice and theory. Any independent work of cadets to improve personal skills is encouraged and encouraged. During training, cadets spend more than a year in the field. And those who graduate from an educational institution with honors are given the right to choose a place of further service (unfortunately, so far within the limits of the order designated for the school).

In total for training at the faculty of secondary vocational education in 2009-2010. 448 people were enrolled, 343 people remained to serve at the moment. Several hundred people were screened out before admission. did not show a desire to study, but simply hoped to receive 10-20 thousand scholarships, eat free of charge and have a roof over their heads. The work of the military registration and enlistment offices and the command of units in the selection of candidates is evident.

During the training, another 105 people dropped out for the following reasons:

The cadets who have passed the entrance tests for "satisfactory" receive a salary in the amount of 7000 rubles, this amount does not satisfy them;

While serving (by conscription or by contract) in other troops, strict requirements were not imposed on the passage of service, and when entering for training, they were faced with exactingness, the need to comply established rules conduct, comply with the prescribed norms of military service;

They made a mistake in choosing a further profession, they realized that military service was not their vocation;

Close relatives and family members are not happy with the choice they have made, they do not agree that training takes place in isolation from families.

Initially, the C grade students received 7,000 rubles each, but at the moment the situation with payments with all allowances looks like this:

if there is at least one triple in any of the subjects - 10 thousand;

if there is at least one four in any of the subjects - 15 thousand;

if all estimates are of the five - 20 thousand.

Losers are simply expelled. The teachers very much approve of this decision, because no need to pull out frank ineptitude and idlers.

The training program is as follows:

At the end of the training, the final state certification of graduates is carried out:

1. Final interdisciplinary exam in the specialty

General tactics

Specific tactics

Management and communications

Engineering support

RCB protection

Military topography

2. State exam in the discipline "Physical culture (preparation)"

The working hours are as follows:

... after the morning activities (getting up, exercising, washing, examining, having breakfast, exercising) the l / s of the FSF cadets goes to the scheduled lessons. From 9.00 to 14.00, in accordance with the schedule of classes, the cadets are in the classroom. After scheduled lessons and lunch, they are given time to independently prepare for classes the next day. After the end of independent training from 18.40 to 19.20, planned activities are carried out with cadets: sports work and educational work.

After completing independent training and carrying out compulsory events from 19.30, cadets are given personal time with the right to leave the territory of the faculty (departure to the city).

Since all the cadets of the faculty of secondary vocational education are military personnel undergoing military service under a contract, they, in accordance with Art. 244 of the Charter of the Internal Service of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is allowed to be outside the school until 24 hours, and family cadets (whose families live with them) until 7.30 the next day. Control of the l / s decreasing outside the territory of the faculty is carried out by the subunit commander, the officer who controls the daily routine and the company officer on duty.

At the moment, cadets of the first (193 people) and the second course (150 people) are studying. We can confidently say that only those who really want to study and serve as a sergeant remained, the rest dropped out, for example, now 43 cadets are excellent students, 128 are studying for four and five, the rest have a range of grades from "3" before "5" ... I talked with the guys why they decided to become sergeants. Many have motivation for a good salary and a social package promised upon admission, which is added to the desire to be in the military. There is a part of the cadets who were not sure that they would pull training under the higher education program for an officer, so they chose which is simpler - a secondary professional sergeant. The contract is signed immediately for 8 years - 2 years and 10 months of training, then 5 years in the army. Recently, an order was issued, according to which a cadet, who refused further studies of his own free will, must return the money spent on his training to the state, until that moment it was possible to resign without any consequences.

Cadets-sergeants and cadets-officers undergo training in the troops right in the school, commanding platoons of cadets-three-month conscripts. The guys' vision of their future is very interesting: "We are sergeants new army! We are the best! We will change the military! We will train soldiers in a new way! "... And they say this without any bragging, but as a matter of course.

I'll move on to photos and videos. On the day of my arrival, the SPE faculty was supposed to have parachute jumps. During the year of training, future sergeants make four jumps, and the fourth is mandatory from the IL-76.

Every now and then the snow fell, so the flight was all postponed and postponed. In order not to stand on their feet, the cadets gave rest to their legs

I took these photos and videos during classes:

One of the teachers. At the moment, 60% of the teaching staff of the school is out of the state, awaiting either an appointment to a position or dismissal, while the prospects are not very clear. The school needs to go to full set three-year sergeants (according to the plan of 1615 people) in order to retain all the teachers, but so far so many candidates are not recruited. A real solution to the problem can be achieved only next year, when the pay for servicemen will be increased and service in the army will regain its former prestige.
